About Beverly
I have been doing this work for over nine years. I've worked with people with intellectual challenges as well as people with PhD's and others who are new to this country and struggling to learn English. I have also specialized in helping mid aged jobseekers who are suddenly unemployed and wondering how to compete in today's world. My clients are extremely diverse with very different goals and needs regarding their career choices. I have facilitated groups of up to 20 at a time and offer one -on -one individualized counseling for those who prefer a more private setting. Many of my students have moved on to acquire the specific language skills, education, job and technological training required to enter their chosen field. Together, we practiced and prepared for job interviews that have propelled many clients to the next level in their careers. Many have found full-time employment, others have found contract or temporary employment. Those still seeking employment have been kept active and up-to-date on interviewing, resume writing, and cover letter presentations. We concentrate on defining each person's "personal brand " and promoting that USP ( unique selling proposition ) to employers and businesses seeking team members with those qualities and capabilities.

I was recently affiliated with the Harvard Ed Portal in Massachusetts. I served as a career counselor and coach to residents in greater Boston. I facilitated job seeker groups, offered one -on -one personal counseling to help clients assess their individual skills, goals and job search challenges. and to best present their own 'personal brand' in resumes, cover letters and on social media. I will help you design a workable job search strategy/plan that makes sense for your personal goals, talents and education. We work together to overcome any challenges to your future success whether seeking part-time or full-time employment. Work may be done in a group format or individually.
