About Catherine

I am outgoing, lively and positive. I like volunteering and blood donation. As the eldest sister (and a younger brother and sister) in the family, I have cultivated good communication and coordination skills since I was a child. I am helpful, cheerful and friendly. I am good at building deep relationships with students, stimulating their interest in learning, and helping them achieve self-improvement in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. In teaching, I pay attention to teaching according to talent. I am good at teaching complex knowledge points in a vivid and interesting way, and using examples and interactive links in life to help students better understand and master. My classroom style is creative, focusing on cultivating students' independent learning ability, encouraging them to ask questions and actively participate in discussions. With rich tutoring experience, I can accurately grasp the learning problems of each student and adjust the teaching methods in a targeted manner. I always firmly believe that as an educator, patience and professionalism are the keys to helping students make progress. Whether it is stimulating students' interest in learning or helping them overcome difficulties, I will spare no effort to accompany them through every stage of learning. About the lesson

My teaching experience is hands-on and diverse. I’ve helped international students prepare for HSK exams, and I also support IB Chinese learners with reading, writing, and speaking practice tailored to their school curriculum. In addition, I’ve worked closely with Chinese children who are learning English as a second language, helping them build confidence through simple explanations and fun, practical activities. As someone who has personally experienced the challenges of language learning, I always aim to create lessons that are patient, personalized, and encouraging.
