About Avery
My name is Avery, and I am an incoming Medical Sciences student at Western University. Alongside my passion for the sciences, I have spent years mastering the French language, culminating in achieving my official, internationally recognized DELF B2 Certification from the Ministry of Education of France.
I know exactly how intimidating it can be to learn a second language. My goal as a tutor is to take the stress out of French, build genuine conversational and academic confidence, and show students that fluency is entirely within their reach.

I offer tailored French lessons for students across all learning streams from Elementary (Grades 1–8) up to High School (Grades 9–12), including:
- Core French (all grade levels)
- Extended French & early French Immersion
- Elementary students building foundational vocabulary, reading, and pronunciation
- High school students panicking about complex grammar, verb conjugations, and oral exams
Whether your child is completely new to the language, trying to survive high school French, or looking to polish their conversational fluency, I adapt my pacing entirely to their level.
I am an elite, high-achieving student who holds an official, internationally recognized DELF B2 Certification from the Ministry of Education of France, and I finished my senior high school French courses with a 95%+ average.
Because I mastered French as a second language myself, I don't look at it from an unreachable pedestal. I deeply understand the exact friction points English-speaking students face, like memorizing gendered nouns, mastering the passé composé vs. imparfait, or overcoming the fear of speaking out loud. I teach the exact mental shortcuts and structural frameworks I used to achieve certified fluency.
