About Koli
With 8 years of teaching experience, I am a guitar tutor who works with students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. My goal is to make learning guitar engaging, enjoyable, and effective. I believe every student learns differently, so I design lessons that match their individual goals and pace.
I focus on building technique, understanding music theory, improvisation skills, and creative expression. Students can explore classical, rock, jazz, or pop music depending on their interests. Over the years, I have taught over 200 students, many of whom have performed in competitions, concerts, and recitals, while others have pursued music as a hobby.
My lessons include structured exercises, practical examples, and interactive teaching methods to make learning both fun and productive. I also teach sight-reading, rhythm, and composition to develop confident and well-rounded musicians.
My approach is patient, supportive, and motivating, helping students grow in skill, creativity, and confidence. Learning guitar with me is a journey that builds musical ability and fosters a lifelong passion for music.

I follow a teaching methodology centred on Compassion, Communication, and Supportiveness, aiming to create a safe, positive, and inspiring learning environment for Guitar students. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style to make learning personalised, effective, and enjoyable.
Communication is central: I explain techniques clearly, demonstrate step by step, and encourage students to ask questions and participate actively. Being supportive, I provide guidance, constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements, helping students navigate challenges successfully.
Lessons include exercises, songs, and creative projects, while also covering music theory, rhythm, and composition. This methodology helps students develop technical skill, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong passion for music.
