About KANAK
Hello! I am a passionate dance enthusiast and teacher who truly enjoys sharing the beauty and joy of dance with others. Dance has always been a very special part of my life, and it inspires me every day to keep learning and growing.
I love helping students discover their creativity, confidence, and rhythm through dance. For me, teaching is not only about showing steps but also about guiding students to understand expressions, musicality, and the graceful storytelling that dance can bring.
I believe that knowledge becomes more meaningful when it is shared. That is why I enjoy teaching and supporting students as they improve step by step and build confidence in their abilities.
My aim is to create a friendly and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to learn something new in every class.

My dance classes are designed to make learning dance fun, creative, and professional for every student. I have completed a 6-year Kathak diploma (Sangeet Prabhakar) from the prestigious Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, and have received several certificates, medals, and trophies in dance competitions and performances.
In my classes, students will learn different dance styles in a simple and enjoyable way:
• Kathak (Indian classical dance with proper technique and expressions)
• Bollywood dance (energetic and expressive choreography)
• Semi-Classical dance (a beautiful blend of classical and modern styles)
What students will learn in my classes:
• Strong Kathak basics and tatkar (footwork)
• Rhythm, bols, and timing in dance
• Hand movements, body posture, and graceful expressions (abhinaya)
• Dance choreography and performance skills
• Basic knowledge of Kathak dance theory and culture
Structure of my classes:
• Warm-up and body preparation
• Practice of basic steps and footwork
• Learning rhythm and coordination
• Choreography practice
• Expression and performance improvement
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and easy to understand so that students feel comfortable and confident while learning. I guide every student step by step according to their level.
