About Aurora

Want to start speaking Italian from your very first lesson?

I was born in Sanremo, Liguria, home of the famous Italian Song Festival, and I hold an honors degree in English and Anglo-American Studies from Sapienza University of Rome.

I specialize in teaching Italian, French, and English, and I am passionate about languages and lifelong learning. I continuously update my teaching methods to deliver engaging, effective, and modern lessons tailored to each student’s goals.

With almost 10 years of experience teaching in both Italy and Australia — including private tutoring, secondary schools, and adult language schools — I have developed a dynamic, interactive approach that builds confidence and fluency from day one.

My aim is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students enjoy learning and achieve real, lasting results.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help you communicate confidently in Italian from the very beginning. Rather than focusing only on grammar and vocabulary, I guide you in understanding how to express ideas naturally, so you can avoid common translation mistakes and sound more like a native speaker.

With over 10 years of teaching experience in both Italy and Australia, online, in schools, and through private lessons, I work with students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. My strong background in both Italian and English allows me to clearly explain even complex language points and support your progress step by step.

I follow a communicative and interactive approach: you will be encouraged to speak Italian as much as possible during lessons, while English is used when needed to clarify grammar and ensure full understanding. Each class is carefully planned and includes a mix of activities to develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, along with structured materials to support your learning.

I also provide homework to reinforce what we cover and help you progress faster, with a strong focus on real-life communication and fluency.

Lessons are fully tailored to your goals, whether you are learning for travel, work, study, or personal interest, and can include topics such as general Italian, business, culture, or conversation.
