About Emily
I have been an educator for over 8 years now. One of the reasons I love teaching mathematics is because there is always a concrete answer. It is never up for debate what the answer to a question is. Because of this, there are many different strategies you can use to work out a math equation/problem and I love helping kids find the way that suits them the best! I would love the opportunity to help you find your way to being a math expert!

My approach to teaching mathematics is to make it engaging and help students to understand with real-world examples. If a student does not understand a concept the original way it is taught, I will teach another method in order to fit the learning needs of the student. I will offer my help on problems but guide students to learning the strategies to attacking the problems on their own.
