About Alex

Hi! I'm Alex, a native Spanish speaker from Asturias, in northern Spain.

I have a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures and a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE). I also have experience teaching languages, helping students improve their communication skills and become more confident speakers.

Languages have always been a huge part of my life. I've studied German, English, French, and Italian, so I know firsthand how exciting — and sometimes challenging — learning a new language can be!

My academic background and teaching experience have helped me understand that learning a language goes far beyond memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules. It's about communicating, connecting with people, and feeling comfortable in real-life situations.

I'm friendly, patient, and easy to talk to. I love meeting people from different cultures, sharing interesting facts about Spain, and making language learning an enjoyable experience.

As someone who has learned several foreign languages, I understand the challenges students face, and I know how important it is to create a relaxed environment where making mistakes is simply part of the learning process.

My goal is simple: to help you stop worrying about making mistakes and start enjoying speaking Spanish!

I can't wait to meet you and help you take your Spanish to the next level!

About the lesson

Learn Spanish by Speaking It!

Forget boring lessons and endless grammar exercises. Let's bring Spanish to life!

My classes are dynamic, interactive, and focused on one main goal: helping you use Spanish confidently in real-life situations.

I believe the best way to learn a language is to actually use it. That's why we'll spend plenty of time speaking, practicing what you've learned, and taking part in fun, realistic role-playing activities.

Imagine ordering food at a restaurant in Madrid, checking into a hotel, making new friends, handling an unexpected situation abroad, or simply having a natural conversation with a native Spanish speaker. We'll practice all of this together!

What can you expect from my lessons?

Real-life roleplays: Practice everyday situations in a relaxed environment.

Conversation-focused activities: Build fluency and confidence from day one.

Practical grammar: Learn useful structures and put them into practice straight away.

Personalized lessons: Activities adapted to your interests, goals, and level.

A friendly learning environment: Make mistakes, ask questions, and improve without pressure.

My lessons are particularly suitable for students who already know some Spanish but want to stop translating everything in their heads and start speaking more naturally.

My goal isn't just to teach you Spanish. It's to help you actually speak it!
