About Kalyn
I received my BEd in 2014 from the University of Alberta. After that, I got my teaching certificates for both Alberta and Quebec before deciding to teach abroad. I spent a year teaching in Japan and enjoying the experience before coming back to Canada. I then took on the unbelievably fun task of teaching adults through a GED program in Alberta. Finally, life brought me out to BC where I obtained my BC Teaching Certificate and began discovering what I want to do with the rest of my life (other than kayak!).

With a BEd, I know it's important to tailor your lessons to your students through making the content fun and relatable. I aim to do that as a tutor as well. While I am a certified teacher with a specialization in secondary education English, I also have experience teaching GED (Math, English, Social, Science) and ESL.
