Certified Zumba instructor offering webcam classes to fight off the quarantine blues!

About the lesson

If you've never tried Zumba before, it's pretty simple. Routines are designed to be repetitive so your brain can take a rest while your body takes control. There's only so many moves in the Zumba vocabulary, so once you've mastered four/five songs, you're pretty much an expert. When in doubt, just jump around and laugh--Zumba is a nonjudgmental space. Everything in Zumba can be modified--so if you're not great at shimmying, or if you don't feel super comfortable gyrating your hips, we can make it work for you.

In exercise, it's not about beating your body up and leaving it to dry. Zumba, especially, is about learning to smile and feel the rhythm while you get a full-body workout. I'm willing to work at a high intensity for those who want to shred calories, and I'm willing to work at a low intensity for those who want to get a better grip on how they can use their body as a musical instrument.

Because of COVID-19, of course, all classes will be webcam-based until further notice.
