About Manave
Hi everyone! I am a Chemical Engineering graduate from University College London and have previously completed my GCSEs and A Levels to a very high standard. I am particularly passionate about Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. This has given me a broad understanding of key concepts and a wide range of experience which I believe make me a positive and effective tutor. I am very experienced in helping others through active participation in clubs and charities on a regular basis, so am very much looking forward to interacting with students and trying to help them to achieve the same level of passion as I have for the subjects that I teach. For my students, I will go the extra mile for each individual to help them to understand the required concepts. It is my belief that not having been taught a subject in a way that their minds can process and understand is one of the main problems, and I am more than happy to establish an effective and positive learning environment to help each individual achieve their targets.

I have over 4 years of experience as a private tutor with over 500 lessons completed across a range of different subjects and age groups. Each session will very much be about you: it’s my belief that each student is uniquely different from one another and it is a widely proven fact that people learn best when they are enjoying what they are doing and as such I will aim to keep my sessions as engaging and interesting as possible. Importance will be placed on engaging questions that will require the student to think on their feet and answer to the best of their abilities, to make the session interactive I’ll make use of diagrams and drawings. At the end of the session, we will recap the key points and if required a homework assignment such as practice questions or extra reading around the subject may be given. Emphasis will be placed on re-capping previous topics through assigned homework such as timed questions, exam-style questions and repetition of exam techniques to ensure that the content has been fully understood. I am happy to teach students at various levels of experience ranging from 11 Plus to A Levels, in a range of different subjects. The particular subject that you would like to be tutored in can be discussed further so that I can understand your specific requirements. Lessons will typically be 55-60 minutes long, however I am happy to extend lessons beyond 60 minutes depending on the requirements of the student.
