About Sydney
My name is Sydney, and I am from outside of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania! I am currently a student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology pursuing a bachelors in Chemical-Biological Engineering and minor in Finance. At MIT, I am also a member of the Varsity Women's Lacrosse Team, our Undergraduate Association, Alpha Phi, and the Chemical Engineering Undergrad Student Advisory Board. I love to stay active, cook, read, and go to the beach in my free time!

I have experience tutoring individuals of all grades and skill levels, so I know how to tailor my lesson plans for each student based on their custom needs. Typically, each session consists of a review of concepts based on my comprehensive lesson plans followed by 1-on-1 guided practice. I have homework materials as well to keep the student on track so I can evaluate progress as the course goes on. I believe I stand out as a tutor because not only do I teach engagingly, but I know how to break difficult concepts down into understandable content (as opposed to a graduate with a PhD and complex mastery of the topic)!
