About Ember
My fascination with chemistry began with interest in how substances combine and transform under different conditions. This led me to complete a B.Sc in Chemical Sciences and later an M.Sc in Inorganic Chemistry. Over 10 years of teaching, I have guided students through challenging topics by emphasizing clarity and structure.
I believe chemistry teaching requires patience and careful explanation. I adapt lessons to each learner’s pace, ensuring concepts are fully understood before progressing. By focusing on reasoning rather than memorization, I help students build lasting confidence.
Outside teaching, I stay connected to chemistry through research reading and analytical study. Teaching chemistry is rewarding because I see students move from uncertainty to understanding. Supporting their scientific growth remains a deeply fulfilling part of my work.

Chemistry becomes manageable when students understand the relationships between particles, reactions, and measurable outcomes. My lessons focus on building clarity in atomic theory, bonding, periodic trends, stoichiometry, reaction mechanisms, and energy changes. I explain chemical behavior step by step, helping learners visualize interactions at the molecular level rather than memorizing equations blindly.
Lesson design adapts to the learner’s stage. Beginners focus on core concepts such as elements, compounds, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners develop quantitative problem-solving skills, reaction balancing, and understanding of reaction types. Advanced learners explore kinetics, equilibrium, coordination chemistry, and complex analytical problems. Practice exercises and feedback ensure steady improvement.
Chemistry lessons also strengthen precision, organization, and confidence. Students learn to approach problems logically and calmly, reducing mistakes and anxiety. My goal is to help learners trust their reasoning and develop a strong scientific mindset that supports long-term success.
