About Vivienne
My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact and transform. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Chemistry followed by an M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry. Over 12 years of teaching, I have helped students overcome confusion by focusing on structured explanation and clarity.
I believe chemistry teaching requires patience and attention to detail. I adapt my approach to each learner’s pace, ensuring no concept is rushed. By emphasizing understanding over memorization, I help students develop long-term confidence.
Outside teaching, I stay connected to chemistry through research reading and analytical practice. Teaching chemistry is rewarding because I witness learners transform uncertainty into understanding. Supporting their scientific growth is one of the most meaningful aspects of my work.

Chemistry becomes manageable when students understand the reasoning behind reactions and calculations. My lessons focus on building conceptual clarity in atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, reaction types, and energy changes. I explain how microscopic particle behavior leads to observable chemical outcomes, helping learners see chemistry as a logical system rather than a collection of formulas.
Lesson design adapts to learner level. Beginners focus on elements, compounds, periodic trends, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners strengthen quantitative problem-solving, balancing equations, and understanding reaction behavior. Advanced learners explore kinetics, equilibrium, electrochemistry, and complex problem analysis. Guided practice and detailed feedback ensure steady improvement.
Chemistry lessons also build precision, discipline, and confidence. Students learn to approach problems step by step, reducing anxiety and errors. My goal is to help learners feel calm and capable when facing chemistry challenges.
