About Erin
I am a graduate from University of St Andrews where I studied for my Masters of Chemistry. I took a year out of academia to teach in Thailand and to travel S-E Asia. But, now I am entering back into education myself and starting a Chemistry PhD at UCL. I enjoy teaching as I had tutors myself and found that they helped me have my breakthrough moments with difficult topics, so I would like to do the same for my students to make them feel more empowered and confident in their chemistry abilities.

I tailor my lessons for my students. Whether that entails a presentation and teaching the course in order, or helping students with past papers, I am versatile to the students' requirements.
I have been tutoring and teaching for 4 years, both A-Level and GCSE levels, and I have received feedback that I make my students feel more confident in their abilities going into the classroom and their exams.
I am happy to teach any level, after a trial lesson we can plan a route to take forward that works best for you.
I like to do 1 hour lessons so that the student can stay engaged, whilst giving us enough time to cover a topic and answer some example questions.
