Chemistry PhD student at McGill gives Organic Chemistry lectures for college students

Ashkan survived me with my organic chemistry lesson at the University of Zurich. He helped me to understand organic reactions and their mechanism. He is patient and knowledgeable and his class was concise and informative. Other than chemistry concepts I learned from him, I am also inspired to be a more patient and loving person because of him. I would definitely recommend Ashkan to every student who not only wants to pass the exam with a high grade but also wants to deeply understand chemistry and enjoy it!

Ashkan's classes are awesome. It's clear that he really enjoys running the classes and he puts lots of effort into each one. I had organic synthesis lesson with him and made the most of each session. On top of being able to describe the course content and solutions to practice problems clearly and concisely, Ashkan is also a really funny and kind teacher who always seemed to be enjoying himself. I enjoyed attending his classes every week because it was evident that he really wanted the best for all students. I'd highly recommend Ashkan to anyone with any background.

I am very grateful to have Ashkan as my chemistry tutorial teacher at McGill and to know him as a person. He is very friendly and approachable. He cares a lot about his students. He is always prepared in advance and always ready to help. He is also very knowledgable about the topics. He always prepares some challenging questions to deepen our understanding of the materials or tells us some extra fun facts related to the course make us think of the "why". This is the essence of education for me. Last and not least, he is an interesing person!
