About Siya

My passion for Chemistry began with curiosity about the invisible structures and reactions that govern our world. I earned a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, gaining deep insight into molecular structures, reaction mechanisms, and experimental analysis. Over 6 years of teaching, I have guided learners through all levels of Chemistry, helping them replace confusion with clarity through patient, structured instruction and real-world examples. I emphasize a supportive, individualized approach, adapting lessons to each student’s pace and learning style. Beginners gain confidence through clear explanation and guided exercises, intermediate learners practice analytical reasoning, and advanced students develop deeper experimental and conceptual understanding. I encourage curiosity, questions, and independent exploration, creating a positive and motivating learning environment. Beyond teaching, I continue exploring contemporary research, lab techniques, and chemical applications. This enriches lessons and allows students to see Chemistry as both relevant and engaging. Watching learners develop understanding, confidence, and analytical skills remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

About the lesson

Chemistry becomes fascinating when learners see how atoms and molecules shape the world around them. In my lessons, I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation by connecting abstract concepts to practical examples. Beginners explore atomic structure, bonding, periodic trends, and basic chemical reactions with visual aids and step-by-step explanations. Intermediate students tackle stoichiometry, solution chemistry, thermodynamics, and reaction kinetics, strengthening analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced learners dive into organic mechanisms, equilibrium, spectroscopy, and multi-step problem solving. Each session fosters curiosity, encourages questions, and provides a supportive environment that makes even complex topics approachable.

Lesson pacing adapts to individual student needs. Beginners receive clear guidance with diagrams, analogies, and simple practice exercises. Intermediate learners apply concepts through structured exercises and case studies. Advanced students engage in experimental reasoning, derivations, and analytical thinking. Each lesson incorporates problem-solving practice, guided correction, and logical explanation to help learners build independence, confidence, and mastery of the subject.
