About Dev
I have eight years of experience teaching Chemistry, and my approach focuses on clarity, patience, and encouragement. I strive to make abstract concepts accessible and engaging, guiding students to build confidence in their abilities and develop strong problem-solving habits. I tailor lessons to individual learning styles, whether through diagrams, hands-on activities, discussion, or practice exercises. By creating a supportive and understanding environment, learners feel comfortable exploring difficult topics and gradually mastering complex material. Beyond teaching, I remain active in laboratory work, research, and pedagogical study. Bringing these experiences into lessons allows students to see Chemistry as meaningful and connected to the real world. Chemistry lessons become more approachable when students receive clear, structured guidance and can see how concepts connect to each other and to real life. I start with atomic structure, chemical bonding, and the periodic table, guiding students through step-by-step explanations and practical examples. Early lessons emphasize understanding patterns, reasoning through reactions, and applying basic problem-solving strategies. This approach helps learners feel more confident and capable when tackling new material.
As students progress, we explore stoichiometry, thermochemistry, acids and bases, kinetics, and molecular interactions. Lessons integrate guided calculations, visual models, and conceptual discussion to reinforce understanding. I focus on teaching students how to approach multi-step problems methodically and how to connect different concepts logically, which strengthens both comprehension and analytical ability.
In advanced sessions, students tackle complex reactions, experimental design, and exam-style problem-solving. Lessons emphasize applying theoretical knowledge to practical situations, improving accuracy, and building resilience when encountering challenging tasks. My goal is to cultivate a supportive, motivating environment where students develop a deep understanding of Chemistry and the confidence to apply their knowledge independently.
