About Audrey

I have 9 years of experience teaching Chemistry, helping students develop strong understanding and confidence in topics ranging from basic reactions to advanced molecular systems. I hold a B.Sc in Chemical Biology, which has given me insight into how chemistry connects with life sciences, medicine, and biochemical processes. Over the years, I have supported learners in transforming chemistry from a subject of memorization into one of reasoning, clarity, and meaningful scientific exploration.

My teaching approach emphasizes patience, structure, and encouragement. I enjoy guiding students through reaction pathways, molecular interactions, and the logic behind chemical transformations. I believe every learner can succeed in chemistry when they receive explanations that match their pace and learning style. My goal is to help students not only solve problems but also understand the deeper principles that make chemistry such an important science.

Outside of teaching, I stay engaged with chemistry through reading modern research, exploring developments in biochemistry and pharmaceuticals, and continuing my own learning. Teaching chemistry is deeply rewarding because it helps students unlock confidence in understanding complex scientific systems. My aim is to inspire learners to approach chemistry with curiosity, resilience, and belief in their ability to succeed.

About the lesson

Chemistry becomes far more understandable when students recognize it as a logical science that explains how matter changes and interacts at the molecular level. In my lessons, I guide learners through atomic structure, bonding, reactions, stoichiometry, and chemical behavior with clarity and patience. Each topic is introduced step by step, supported by real-world examples that make chemistry feel relevant rather than overwhelming. I create a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence through practice.

Lesson plans are personalized for each student’s level. Beginners focus on periodic trends, balancing equations, mole calculations, and foundational bonding concepts. Intermediate learners strengthen understanding of thermochemistry, acids and bases, equilibrium systems, and analytical problem solving. Advanced students explore organic chemistry mechanisms, kinetics, spectroscopy basics, and exam-style challenges. Practice problems and reasoning support are integrated into every lesson so students develop both conceptual clarity and accuracy.

Chemistry connects directly to medicine, environmental science, and modern technology. As learners improve, they begin to see chemical logic in everyday life and scientific progress. My goal is to help students feel confident mastering chemistry, not only for academic achievement but also for deeper understanding of the molecular world.
