About Isla
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and have 6 years of teaching experience. My journey in Chemistry began with a strong interest in understanding how substances interact and change. Over time, I developed a teaching approach that focuses on clarity and practical understanding.
My teaching style is patient and structured. I break down complex topics into simple steps so students can understand them easily. I use real-life examples and clear explanations to make lessons relatable and effective. I also encourage students to ask questions and stay engaged during sessions.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring chemical concepts and learning about new developments in the field. Teaching Chemistry is rewarding because I see students grow more confident over time. Helping them achieve their goals and build strong understanding motivates me every day.

Chemistry becomes easier when students understand how reactions occur instead of memorizing equations. My lessons focus on building a strong foundation in chemical bonding, reactions, and calculations through simple explanations. I guide students step by step so they can understand the logic behind each concept. Each lesson is designed to create a calm and encouraging environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas.
I tailor lessons based on the student’s level. Beginners learn about atoms, molecules, and basic reactions with clear guidance. Intermediate learners focus on balancing equations, reaction types, and numerical problems. Advanced students explore equilibrium, thermodynamics, and organic chemistry concepts. Practice problems, guided solutions, and regular feedback help students improve steadily.
Chemistry also helps students develop analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. As they begin to understand patterns, they feel more confident solving complex questions. Many students start to enjoy the subject once they see how it applies to real life. My goal is to make Chemistry simple, clear, and engaging so students can succeed academically.
