About the lesson

I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry. My passion lies in food chemistry, especially food preservation and analysis. I love exploring the chemical changes that cause food spoilage and understanding how antioxidants, emulsifiers, and preservatives work to maintain quality.

I enjoy teaching the science behind preservation methods like canning, drying, and fermentation, showing how each method protects food at the molecular level. My lessons connect theory to everyday life, helping students see how chemistry influences the safety, taste, and nutrition of what we eat. I guide students in understanding food safety and quality from a chemical perspective, explaining how chemical principles are applied in kitchens and industries alike.

Through interactive explanations, real-life examples, and problem-solving exercises, I make complex ideas accessible and engaging. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning so students can truly appreciate the chemistry behind food.
