About Mira
My interest in chess began when I first learned the game during childhood and quickly became fascinated by its depth and strategic possibilities. I enjoyed analyzing different positions and thinking about how each move could change the direction of the game. This curiosity led me to study analytical thinking further, eventually completing a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
Over the past 6 years, I have taught chess to students with different levels of experience. Some learners wanted to prepare for school competitions, while others simply wanted to improve their strategic thinking and enjoy the game. Teaching these students helped me develop clear and structured methods for explaining chess concepts.
My teaching style focuses on patience, careful analysis, and encouraging independent thinking. I guide students through practice games and strategic exercises that help strengthen their decision-making skills. Helping learners build confidence in their thinking and discover the enjoyment of strategic gameplay is one of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching experience.

My chess lessons focus on helping students understand the strategic thinking that makes the game both challenging and enjoyable. Chess encourages logical reasoning, patience, and thoughtful decision-making. In my lessons, students learn how to analyze the board carefully, plan their moves ahead, and understand how different strategies influence the outcome of the game.
Lessons usually begin with reviewing the fundamental rules and movement of each chess piece. Students practice controlling the center of the board, developing their pieces efficiently, and protecting important squares. These foundational concepts help learners build confidence while understanding how strong positions are formed during the opening stage of a match.
As students continue learning, lessons expand into tactical patterns and strategic planning. Students study common ideas such as forks, pins, discovered attacks, and checkmate patterns. We also analyze completed games so learners can understand the reasoning behind successful moves. My goal is to help students become thoughtful players who enjoy the intellectual challenge and strategy involved in chess.
