About Clara
My interest in Chess began through a fascination with strategy, planning, and decision-making. This passion encouraged me to complete a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Studies followed by a Master of Science in Cognitive Psychology. During my 8 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through all stages of chess development.
I believe strong Chess instruction should focus on understanding rather than memorization. My teaching style emphasizes critical thinking, pattern recognition, and practical application. Through game analysis, interactive discussions, and personalized coaching, I help students build both confidence and competitive skill.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying classical games, analyzing modern tournaments, and exploring learning psychology. These interests help me bring fresh perspectives into lessons. Helping students develop stronger strategic thinking remains one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.

My Chess lessons are designed to help students think more clearly, plan more effectively, and develop confidence in complex situations. Learners study opening principles, tactical motifs, positional concepts, endgame techniques, calculation methods, piece coordination, pattern recognition, and game analysis through structured exercises and practical examples. I focus on helping students understand strategic ideas instead of memorizing moves, allowing them to make stronger decisions independently. Every lesson encourages logical thinking and continuous improvement.
Lessons are adapted according to each student's experience level and personal goals. Beginners focus on board awareness, piece activity, basic tactics, and fundamental checkmating patterns. Intermediate players strengthen positional understanding, calculation accuracy, and strategic planning. Advanced learners work on deep analysis, tournament preparation, advanced endgames, and long-term positional concepts. Regular practice games and detailed reviews help students identify strengths and improve weaknesses.
Chess is a valuable tool for developing concentration, patience, and problem-solving ability. My goal is to help students become stronger players while building skills that support success in many areas of life. Every lesson promotes strategic growth and intellectual confidence.
