About Tagir

With over 12 years of living, studying, and working in China, I bring both advanced Mandarin skills and a deep understanding of Chinese culture to my teaching. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering and a Master’s degree in Hydraulic Structure Engineering from Hohai University (Nanjing), where I studied entirely in Chinese. I have experience in international trade, contract management, and cross-cultural communication with partners from Kazakhstan, Russia, Canada, and China. My teaching approach is energetic, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs, combining practical speaking practice with engaging activities — including movement-based learning for children. Fluent in English and Russian, I can explain concepts clearly and ensure a smooth learning process for beginners and intermediate learners. My goal is to help you feel confident, motivated, and excited to use Chinese in real life.

About the lesson

My Approach as a Tutor
I believe that a positive mindset is the key to learning success. In my lessons, I create a friendly and encouraging atmosphere so students feel confident and motivated. I focus on building practical speaking skills from the very beginning, while gradually introducing reading and writing as needed. I even combine language learning with physical training exercises, using my experience coaching kids to teach Chinese in an active, playful way.

Teaching Method and Techniques
I use interactive activities, role-playing, real-life dialogues, games, and movement-based exercises to keep lessons dynamic. I tailor materials to the student’s interests, ensuring they stay engaged and make steady progress. Speaking and listening practice take priority, supported by vocabulary building and cultural insights.
