I am S. Deepika Chawhan, and I possess a profound fascination and passion for dance. While I have never delved into its history, nor do I concern myself with its origins or renowned practitioners, these details are inconsequential to my experience. For me, dance is synonymous with joy and the profound contentment of the soul. In my understanding, dance embodies emotion and serves as an outlet for expressing our deepest feelings. The historical context of dance is irrelevant to its execution. Therefore, I believe there is no necessity to know its creators or legendary figures, as dance, for me, is not a competition but a cherished passion. Every movement, whether accompanied by music or not, constitutes dance in my perception. I firmly believe I was born a dancer, and fame is not a prerequisite for this identity. A true dancer remains a dancer, regardless of external recognition, and this truth remains immutable.
