About Iolanda

I was born and raised in Italy and now live in the United States. I’m a native Italian speaker, fluent in English, with knowledge of Spanish, and I truly love teaching and connecting with people through language.
Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about writing, reading, working out, hiking, and kickboxing.

I would love to teach Italian in a friendly, relaxed setting where learners feel supported and confident. My goal is to help students not only learn the language, but also experience the culture, traditions, and everyday life that make Italian so special.

About the lesson

Whether you’re a beginner taking your first steps, a traveler wanting practical conversation skills, or an advanced learner, I customize every lesson to your goals, interests, and learning style.

My teaching approach is:
Focused on real-life communication
Structured, but flexible and fun
I believe language learning should feel empowering—not stressful. Together, we’ll build confidence through conversation, listening, reading, and grammar at your own pace.

Lessons available for:
Beginners to advanced learners
Conversation practice
Grammar support
Travel Italian
Kids, teens, and adults
