About Ullas

Hello, my name is Ullas. I am a Civil Engineer currently working in Australia and involved in engineering and infrastructure projects. I have contributed to various design and engineering works involving Airport Infrastructure across India, USA and Australia. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Engineering Project Management.

Through my professional work, I regularly use engineering drawings and drafting tools, which allows me to teach AutoCAD from a practical, industry-focused perspective.

My goal is to help students build strong AutoCAD fundamentals and develop the confidence to create clear, professional engineering drawings used in real projects. I take a structured, patient, and practical approach, adapting each lesson to the student’s level and learning pace.

About My Lessons

My lessons focus on practical AutoCAD skills used in real engineering projects, rather than only basic software commands. As a Civil Engineer currently working in Australia, I bring real industry experience into the training so students understand how AutoCAD is actually used in engineering and construction projects.

My teaching approach is step-by-step and hands-on. I start with the fundamentals such as the AutoCAD interface, drawing tools, layers, and dimensioning. Once students are comfortable with the basics, we move into practical drafting exercises and real project examples, similar to the drawings used in civil engineering and construction work. This helps students develop confidence and understand professional drafting standards.

A typical lesson lasts 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s preference and learning pace. Each session includes explanation, guided practice, and short exercises so students can apply what they learn immediately.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Engineering Project Management, and I currently work in the engineering industry in Australia. Through my professional work, I regularly use engineering drawings and drafting tools, which allows me to teach AutoCAD with a strong real-world perspective.
