About Chad
I believe the best way to describe myself is, honest and patient.
The biggest lesson I have learnt in my 22 years is that failure is much more valuable than anything. The greatest mindset changes and lessons in life come from failure. I know that best, I left high school with an average of 86%, as well as been 1/100 students awarded the prestigious Sasol Engineering bursary. However, I learnt the hard way at University and subsequently lost the bursary as well as failing multiple modules in my first year. Long story short, I am now entering my final year in Engineering. This is a testimony that the greatest things come from failing and you truly become the best version of yourself from trial and error.
At school, we are pressured to excel and failing is almost taboo. I want to change the mindset towards these subjects and get students to fall in love with the process and less with the end goal. This is where the most growth lies, and as a by-product success will follow.
All in all, I want students to feel comfortable and calm; realising that with time and consistency, anything you want is achievable.

Students should expect lessons that are tailored towards the understanding of what they are doing explicitly, and less towards the "memo" game which is encouraged by institutions.
I have learnt through my time at high school and university that the recipe for success in math and physics is undeniably; Mindset.
I strive to get concepts across to students in a way that is personal to them and in which they can relate. I stress the importance of working "smarter not harder" and try to instill a way of thinking that is logical and analytical.
I am proficient in english and teach students of all languages in mathematics and physics.
Learners who may benefit most are:
Math and Physics high school students (Grade 8 to 12)
First year engineering students (Engineering Maths 115, etc)
