About Maya
I've played clarinet for 13 years and passed my Grade 8 AMEB exam with a High Distinction (A+). I have loved being a music tutor for 2 years at a couple of primary schools teaching over 15 students. I also have plenty of experience doing zoom/ online music lessons as I continued teaching during covid lockdowns.

I will provide online clarinet lessons via zoom or a platform of your choice. I recommend 60min lessons, however, I am more than happy to do longer lessons if you would prefer. In the lessons we can work on music provided by the student, such as band music or music from their own exercise books. However, I also like to provide extra music and skills exercises to keep the student motivated and interested in the lesson. After the lesson, I provide specific notes on what the student should practice between each lesson to encourage steady improvement! I have experience tutoring primary school, high school and adult students with ranging experience levels so I am able to cater the lesson to the student accordingly.
