About Zoe

Hi! I'm Zoe, a clarinetist and woodwind teacher with six years of experience. I've taught in schools, summer programs, and privately. Trained by top professionals, I blend orchestral, chamber, and solo experience to guide students of all levels.

About the lesson

I believe strong fundamentals are the key to musical growth and enjoyment. My lessons balance technical work with personalized repertoire, supported by my background in theory and musicology from Stanford University. With experience in classical, jazz, pop, and theater music, I teach clarinet and saxophone to students of all levels. Whether you're a beginner or preparing for auditions, my goal is to support your unique musical journey.

Perfect! Zoe is radiantly upbeat and encouraging. I was starting over after no playing for nearly 50 years, and within a few weeks she had me happily making music again. We work on musicality as well as technique. Couldn't be more pleased and satisfied!
