About K'Mya
I am a current student at Samford University where I play in the orchestra and other ensembles. I graduated from the Alabama School of Fine Arts studying under Dr. Robert Janssen. In 2017, I participated in Carnegie Hall's NYO-USA 2 which helped me make meaningful connections and better myself as a musician. In the Spring of 2023,I also performed as a soloist with the Samford Orchestra.

I enjoy making sure my student is having fun. Playing an instrument shouldn't feel like a chore. My lessons are individualized to align with my student's goals whether that be to make first chair in All-State band or to just learn some cool, popular songs! I believe my experience sets me apart as a tutor.
