About Zeynep
I am a Berklee-trained classical and contemporary pianist with international awards, solo recital experience, symphony concert performances, and extensive work as a musical theater music director. I have performed at venues including Lincoln Center, the Huntington Theatre, and other major stages in the U.S. and internationally. My performing background also spans jazz, funk, and blues, which allows me to guide students across multiple styles with confidence and clarity. My lessons are structured, supportive, and thoughtfully paced so that each student feels both guided and encouraged as they progress. I work with a wide range of students—whether you are a conservatory-level pianist looking for a second set of ears, a complete beginner starting from the very first notes, or a vocalist who wants to accompany themselves with confidence. I focus on building strong technique, real musical understanding, and effective practice habits in a positive, professional learning environment. Whether a student is playing classical repertoire, contemporary music, or preparing for performances or exams, I emphasize healthy technique, musical expression, and long-term progress.
