- What kind of experience do you have?
I have over 20 years experience of double bass teaching. I only teach privately these days but have been employed with Birmingham Music Service and Gloucestershire Arts. I play orchestral double bass professionally.
- Where and with whom did you train?

Children's lessons are 30 mins (subject to age, ability or recommendation), all adult lessons are 45 mins or longer. I may recommend longer lessons or cluster lessons before a graded exam, which will cover time for aural training, coaching with accompanist, theory etc.
- Where do you teach?
I can to travel to lessons or hold lessons at my apartment in Godalming. As I am unable to transport my bass to lessons, I feel that lessons are better quality if I am able to demonstrate and play along, so prefer lessons to be held at my address.
- When are you available?
I am available when required.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages from 6 upwards. I am happy to teach from beginner to diploma (post Grade 8).
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
ABRSM or Trinity Guildhall. I've used both exam boards and will pick and choose depending on the student.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
Please do let me know your age if under 18. Otherwise just state 'over 18'.
