About Oscar
I am a professional musician based in Birmingham City Centre. Whilst I was at university I fell in love with the city and haven't looked back since! I'm a big fan of classical piano, with a preference for the Romantic era. I also love musical theatre, and spend my spare time musical directing for amateur theatre societies in Birmingham. I have performed and accompanied many concerts. I adore sharing new music with new friends and the connection that music offers. Piano lessons made a huge impact on me growing up and I want to extend that knowledge to a new generation.

I took many ABRSM Piano grades when I was younger, so I am very familiar with their system of examinations. I also took Rockschool exams so I am happy to cover that side too. I follow a classical technique, drawing on my years of lessons with professional pianists and my skills obtained during my degree at the University of Birmingham. Each lesson is personally tailored, with a clear objective to go and work towards in practice. Typical lesson length would be 30mins to an hour. I have already taught multiple younger students beginner's piano for 2 years. My lessons are for anyone who is willing to learn, any age at any level!
