About Zachariah

I am a classical baritone and voice teacher based in Montréal. I trained at the Royal College of Music in London, where I studied vocal performance and developed a strong foundation in classical technique, opera, art song and choral singing.

My teaching focuses on helping singers build a freer, healthier and more reliable voice. I work with students on breath coordination, resonance, clarity of tone, diction, musical phrasing and confidence in performance.

I teach beginners, returning singers, choral singers, conservatory applicants and classical singers who want more technical consistency. My lessons are calm, structured and practical, with the aim of helping each student understand their own voice and build steadily over time.

About the lesson

My lessons are calm, structured and practical. I focus on building a healthy classical technique through breath coordination, resonance, vowel clarity, diction, musical phrasing and confidence in performance.

A typical lesson begins with posture, breathing and vocal exercises, followed by work on repertoire. I help students understand what is happening in the voice, rather than relying only on imitation or vague imagery.

Lessons are suitable for beginners, returning singers, choral singers, conservatoire applicants and classical singers who want more consistency, freedom and confidence.
