About Eric Wenqi
Loving music and piano from the bottom of my heart, I've been playing the piano/keyboard/synthesizer since the beginning of the universe...(I wish, but not true. It's been only 20 years). Along my piano journey, I've picked up all the necessary elements (classically trained, contemporarily influenced, armed with theories and soaked by broad playing experiences) to explore the music world. I'm also an avid composer with a focus on piano music. Now it's time for me to give back to other piano lovers (and potential ones) who want to learn this wonderful instrument (keyboard/synthesizer too).

I use a "question leading" method as my main teaching methodology. Students are encouraged to ask questions relating to piano/keyboard/music. And the class will be tailored towards what they want to learn for individual students.
For beginners, my teaching will be focusing on establishing a strong foundation both technically and musically. It is essential to start on the right path. Bad habits are pesky enemies and will be a lot harder to get rid of later.
For more advanced players, it will be more focused on the proper approach to a piece, analysis of harmonies and melodies etc.
Also for interested students, I will teach tips to play anything (e.g. pop songs of your choice) on the piano and make it sound great.
