About Waran

I am a committed Piano tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, working with students from beginner to advanced levels. Over this time, I have successfully taught around 150 students, helping them develop strong piano technique, musical understanding, and confidence in their playing. My tutoring approach is personalized and supportive. I begin by understanding each student’s goals, learning pace, and musical interests. Beginners focus on posture, hand positioning, rhythm, and basic music reading. Intermediate students work on scales, chords, coordination, and finger strength. Advanced students develop musical expression, dynamics, speed control, and performance skills. I strongly believe that learning piano is not just about playing notes, but about understanding music. I include music theory, sight-reading, and ear training in my lessons to build a complete musical foundation. I also guide students on how to practice effectively and stay consistent. One of my unique strengths is my patience and ability to explain concepts clearly. I create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged and confident. My goal is to help students become independent, expressive pianists with a lifelong love for music.

About the lesson

My Piano teaching methodology is based on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I believe piano learning should be structured, supportive, and enjoyable. I take time to understand each student’s learning needs before planning lessons.

Lessons focus on essential piano skills such as posture, finger control, coordination, rhythm, and reading music. These basics are practiced using exercises and suitable songs. As students progress, I introduce scales, chords, and expressive techniques. Flexibility allows lessons to adjust to the student’s pace.

Collaboration encourages students to take an active role in learning. I maintain open communication and involve students in selecting music and setting goals. Clear practice methods help students improve consistently.

Positivity is at the heart of my teaching environment. I encourage students through patience and supportive feedback. Along with piano, I also teach basic music theory, rhythm skills, ear training, and effective practice strategies. My goal is to help students become confident pianists who enjoy learning music.
