About Megha

I'm a software engineer with ~10 years of experience working with a leading global cyber security and networking firm building real-world technologies. I'm also a mom, which shapes how I teach — with patience, encouragement, and a genuine understanding of how kids learn best at their own pace.

I started teaching because I wanted to share the same problem-solving mindset that shaped my career, in a way that's fun and hands-on rather than textbook-heavy. I currently teach regular in-person students and have run structured project-based workshops, with strong feedback from parents on both engagement and results.

Outside of tech, I'm a Kathak dancer and an avid reader, which keeps me creative and patient — qualities I bring directly into how I coach kids through tricky coding problems. I believe every child can learn to code confidently when it's taught the right way — through building, not memorizing.

About the lesson

I teach kids to code through hands-on projects, not just syntax drills. I currently teach regular offline students in-person, with great feedback from parents, alongside a track record from a 10-12 session summer workshop where each student built and presented their own project from scratch.

Kids learn programming fundamentals (Scratch, Python, or web basics, based on level) while building something real — a game, app, or website — and pick up genuine problem-solving and debugging skills along the way.

Classes are practical, patient, and encouraging — happy to start with a trial session to see if it's the right fit for your child.
