I am a college student majoring in English Secondary Education and have experience tutoring reading/English during my senior year of highschool at my private school. My teaching approach is first identifying what learning method my student absorbs the most material under. After identifying that, I would practice reading aloud with them and try to discern which area of reading they are struggling with the most. I am an adamant believer that perfect practice makes perfect performance. Also, finding out what genre and style of books my student enjoys to help encourage reading during free time.
