About Aaloka

I have been learning Spanish for 14 years, I took it for GCSE and A-Level. I received a 9 at GCSE with full marks in speaking, 92% in writing and 82% in reading. At A-Level I am predicted an A* and consistently achieve top marks up to 90% in the listening and reading paper. I am also skilled at speaking and writing as A-Level requires students to have a holistic knowledge about the Hispanic culture (including topics such as dictatorships and immigration) and be able to write sophisticated essays about a novel and a film. This means that my vocabulary is extensive and I am able to understand the language relatively strongly. For this reason, I believe I would be a strong choice as a tutor if you are looking to achieve top grades at GCSE or A-Level.

About the lesson

I am a college student, I have recently completed my A-Level exams, including A-Level Spanish. I love languages, especially Spanish, and I love to inspire this passion in others. I took Spanish for GCSE and A-Level, I received a 9 at GCSE and I am predicted an A* at A-Level. I want to teach Spanish as I believe learning languages is both an enjoyable and extremely valuable skill, particularly in terms of job prospects where language skills are highly sought after. My lessons will typically be an hour long, but this can be adjusted if needed. I can teach any level up to and including A-Level Spanish. I will bring an effective, enjoyable approach to teaching, with a mix of listening, reading, translation and speaking skills to ensure you hit the top marks in all papers. I will ensure that there is a focus on vocabulary and tense learning and will give you advice on how to build revision into your routine.
