About Joshua

I've tutored all ages (even 50+ y/o college students and my 4 y/o niece) in many subjects and tests (ACT/SAT/PERT/AP/CLEP, Geometry, Algebra, Pre-Calc, Trig, Calc I, II, and III, Physics I). I've taught programming, tech literacy, and even music (Violin, Piano, Guitar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Python, C, C#, C++, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.) All this to say, no matter who you are, what age, background, needs, or prior knowledge, make it all clear as day.

About the lesson

Whether you're an undergrad, a high school student, or a parent of a K-12 child, I have dynamic teaching styles for all.

For undergrads: I know that math class feels like a full-time job, but working with me will cut your study to just a few hours a week. I'll listen to exactly what you need and make it feel like hello world again.

High school students: If you're taking up a new extracurricular coding hobby and are curious about how to start and enjoy coding, I'm the guy. I started with simple Lua back in 2017 before language libraries were everything; I enjoyed it so much that I made it my career with freelance web dev work and internships while full-time in university.

Parents: I'll show your child the passion of programming by working on projects with them, with hands-on lessons that immediately show the power of code. I even tutored a sixth on game development for a few months, and he now sends me screenshots of his awe-inspiring creations; it's that positive effect on people that keeps me tutoring.

As a hobby, we'll collaborate on projects and converse over Discord for daily support, bug fixes, and questions. If you have classes, I'll begin by asking if you need some gaps filled in, if you need in-depth lessons, or just how to pass the next test. I'll tell you how much you need to study for each grade letter, send you notes, and explain different solving methods tailored to you
