About Matthew
As a teacher, I endeavor to help my students fully understand the material. I do my best to work with individual learning styles. I find that teaching my students how to think is far more effective than the rote memorization many other teachers at all levels try to use.

As the backbone of my teaching, I use the texts by Ralph Turek and other textbook authors. I supplement this as necessary with other widely respected theorists like Schoenberg. Exactly which text(s) I use will depend on the student's level. I will also provide supplementary reading and listening materials.
