● 12+ years of experience in teaching at Graduate level, with a Doctorate in Computer Science
● Undergraduate degree and 2 Masters degrees in Computer Science and Computer System Engineering
● Researcher with 35 publications, one of which received the Best Paper Award in Switzerland (2006)
● Chaired conference on Pattern Analysis and Recognition at the 6th IASTED International Conference in Spain
● 5+ years’ experience building software applications, and executing software solutions to address business issues
