About Jason

Hi, I'm Jason, an IT professional based in Accra with a Computer Science degree and a career built around keeping organisations secure. My specialty is identity and access management with Microsoft Entra ID, and I hold ISC2 CC, SC-900 and SC-300 certifications.

I started out in network engineering, configuring Cisco equipment, VPNs and monitoring systems, then moved into consulting, where I advised financial institutions on using AI to improve their day-to-day workflows. That means I've seen how technology and security work together in real organisations, not just what the textbooks say.

I bring that real-world experience to every lesson. I prepare in advance, start on time and keep each session focused on what you want to achieve. If you're aiming for a certification, a new role or simply more confidence with technology, I'd be glad to help you get there.

My approach

I believe the best way to learn cybersecurity and IT is by doing. Every lesson combines clear explanations with hands-on practice, and I always explain the "why" behind a concept before the steps so you can apply it in new situations. We might work through real-world scenarios, build small labs, or use quick quizzes to check understanding.

Lesson format

Lessons last 1 hour, with longer sessions available for exam prep or projects. Each one starts with a short recap, moves into the new topic with practical exercises, and ends with a task to try on your own. You'll get notes and resources to revise from.

My background

I'm a Computer Science graduate and IT professional specializing in identity and access management with Microsoft Entra ID. I hold ISC2 CC, SC-900 and SC-300 certifications, and have worked hands-on with Cisco networking, VPNs and network monitoring.
