About Mae
I am a 19 year old student from Aylesbury who has been playing the piano for 15 years from the age of four. I have achieved all 8 piano grades as well as 2 music performance diplomas (ARSM and Dip-ABRSM) and have always had a passion for music performance since I was young! Previously, I have conducted choirs and an orchestra in preperation for music competitions, as well as accompanying ensembles on the piano. As a teacher, I always prioritise creating a safe and comfortable environment of respect with students. I believe that the best music comes from a creative and inspired point of view, which is what I aim to bring out of students who play the piano.

I offer 1 hour piano lessons (covering pieces, scales, sight-reading, and aural) as well as music theory. I believe that understanding the emotion behind music, and interactive learning with demonstration is essential when playing the piano. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I am dedicated to adapting my teaching style based on individual needs. My ultimate goal as a piano teacher is to help you feel more confident on your musical journey! Whether you are just a beginner, or an experienced pianist, I am committed to helping people of all levels, from a warm and patient perspective. :)

Details
