About Priscilla

I am a classical violinist who has been playing the violin for over 10 years. I have had experience playing in solo performances, school orchestras, chamber orchestras, Region orchestra, and even live performances with groups and local artists. I have been teaching the violin for 5 years now, and it has been an amazing experience guiding students through their own musical journey as violinists. I am currently attending Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University where I am majoring in Biological Sciences and Educational Studies and am also minoring in Music. I can teach a variety of music such as classical, mariachi, and even pop music.

About the lesson

I am a strong believer that music is a bridge between our inner selves and the outside world, which is why I tailor and adapt my teaching and each lesson to match the needs and levels of my students. I like to approach each lesson with a positive attitude and encouragement that will help them grow and develop as violinists and skilled musicians. I also enjoy teaching with the servant-leadership principle where the student is the leader of the lesson where they can have their voices heard that can help clear up any concerns or questions. I love teaching any students from all ages from beginning to intermediate levels who want to learn about music and the violin. I want everyone to know that I am here to support them throughout their violin journey, and that with hard work and perseverance from both the student and myself, we can become a team that will strive to reach the students' full potential and musical goals!
