About Glen
Hi - my name is Glen. I studied music at Uni, but after I graduated for a long time I was not able to play. I ended up focusing on what I love, on musical lines, on creating connection, on trying to put a melody in the heads of listeners. I believe that to learn works that rather than rote practice that can build muscle memory of stiff-fingered playing, we focus on the phrases that we play, the melodies that we are trying to create to sing, or relaxing into the music that you play. I plan to teach in the Parramatta area and teach students in their homes.

I approach playing on a note by note basis, and focus on the musicality of the phrasing and the sounds that you make. I encourage learners to learn what you are playing musically rather than mechanically. I am able to teach all levels.
