About Max
Hi,
I am Max, 27 years old and have been active as a guitar teacher for several years now. My own musical path started a long time ago with playing different instruments, but it soon became clear that the guitar is the instrument with which I can express myself best. As a guitarist I started playing music from the 70s. At the time I was a big fan of blues and prog rock bands such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and King Crimson. Later I delved more into Jazz and Classical music, which eventually brought me to the Utrecht Conservatory. During my years at the Conservatory I was given the time to further develop my skills and to search for my creatorship. In this way I learned a lot in the field of composition and improvisation, which is why I currently regularly perform on stage with my own musical work.
I now really enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with enthusiasts during my guitar lessons. Hopefully we will see each other soon, to make music together and discover the possibilities of the guitar.

During my guitar lessons, we will search together for the best way to help you progress on this beautiful instrument. The guitar is a very versatile instrument, which can be viewed from many musical angles. That is why during my lessons, we will search together for your musical fascinations, and how you can best express these as a musician, guitarist or artistic creator.
For some students this may mean that we learn, understand and master the instrument from the ground up. For other students this may mean that we delve deeper into technique, theory, composition or a specific genre. Together we will give the lessons a content that suits you best, to advance you not only as a guitarist, but also as a musician, person and artistic creator.

Mijn dochter volgt alweer ruim een half jaar gitaarles bij Max. Ze gaat elke week met veel plezier naar de les en ik zie haar met de tijd echt groeien in haar gitaar ontwikkeling. Max is een betrouwbare en kundige leraar. Hij weet zowel enthousiasme als rust in de lessen te brengen, een waardevolle skill als docent. Ik kan hem zeker aanraden als docent!
Max is een erg fijne leraar. Ik volg al een aantal maanden gitaarles bij hem en ben erg tevreden. In zijn lessen ben ik erg gegroeid. Max is heel rustig, geduldig, vriendelijk, luistert goed en geeft zijn volledige aandacht. Ik raad hem aan iedereen aan, van beginner tot professioneel / voorbereidend op conservatorium.
Max leren kennen als een aangenaam persoon. Met veel geduld legt hij uit en meestal snap ik het de eerste keer.
