About Arnab

I’m a University of Melbourne M.Arch graduate with experience across some of Australia’s leading architecture and construction firms, including COX Architecture, ARM Architecture, Multiplex and West to West Group.

My experience spans major hospitals, transport infrastructure, education, sports facilities, Build-to-Rent and high-end architectural apartment projects. I’ve worked across concept design, design development, technical coordination, building permits, quality assurance and on-site construction delivery.

I’m currently a Design Coordinator in Perth, working across premium residential developments and coordinating architects, engineers, consultants and construction teams to turn complex designs into buildable outcomes.

Having worked on both the architect and builder sides of the industry, I can help students bridge the gap between university design thinking and how architecture actually gets designed, coordinated and built in the real world.

About the lesson

I believe great architecture starts with a strong idea. My teaching focuses on helping you think clearly, develop your concept logically and turn early ideas into a convincing design.

Every project has a story. Together, we’ll find yours, develop it and communicate it confidently through drawings, diagrams and presentations.

Perfect! I’ve had a really positive experience learning from Arnab. His teaching methods were always clear and practical, and he explained things in a way that made even complicated ideas much easier to understand. From developing my school design project and improving my software skills to learning how to format drawings properly, our meetings helped me to do much better at uni. Arnab also shared useful advice from his own experience in the industry, which gave me a better understanding of how things work in real projects. Even in the construction unit, his insights made the content more meaningful and easier to apply. Overall, I’ve gained a lot from his support, and it’s definitely improved my skills and confidence as a student.

Perfect! I have had seven tutorials with Arnab so far and I can confidently say he is a very good tutor. He is friendly, patient, smart and very efficient. I would definitely recommend him as a tutor, specially if you are just getting started on Revit.
