About Xiaorui

I hold a bachelor’s degree in visual arts from Shanghai University and a master’s degree in game design from SMU Guildhall. My background is rooted in strong traditional art training, with a specialization in realistic drawing and portraiture. I excel at capturing intricate details, accurate proportions, and lifelike expressions, using techniques such as shading, perspective, and composition to create visually compelling works. My education and years of practice have allowed me to refine my 2D drawing skills and develop a deep understanding of artistic fundamentals. As an artist and teacher, I strive to help students master realistic drawing techniques while encouraging them to express their unique creativity and artistic vision.

About the lesson

My teaching method focuses on fostering creativity, building strong technical skills, and tailoring lessons to individual needs. I emphasize hands-on practice, clear demonstrations, and interactive feedback to ensure students feel confident in their abilities while exploring their unique artistic styles.
